Cancellation & refunds

These are the cancellation and refund provisions from section 1 of the Terms of Use, collected here for convenience.

Stop future payments

Web cancellation. Sign in to your personal account in the DuoFace web app, open subscription settings and confirm cancellation before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Keep the cancellation confirmation. If you cannot access cancellation, contact support@duoface.app before renewal with your account email and order reference. Closing the browser or deleting an app does not cancel a subscription. Paid access continues until the paid period ends. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not itself refund a completed payment. Store purchases must instead be cancelled through the relevant store.

Refund eligibility

Refunds. For purchases made directly through the DuoFace web app, you are eligible for a refund within 48 hours after we validate your purchase if you are dissatisfied with the Services due to poor face-morphing quality. This quality guarantee applies to your first purchase only and does not apply to subscription renewals. Refunds required by applicable law remain available regardless of these limitations. For purchases made through Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, refunds follow the respective store’s refund terms and procedures, subject to applicable law.

How to request a refund

Refund requests for web purchases. Email support@duoface.app with your account email, order or transaction reference, payment date, amount, currency and a description of the quality problem or other reason. The 48-hour quality guarantee above applies to the first purchase and not to renewals. For store purchases, use that store’s refund procedure. Statutory rights, including remedies for duplicate charges and a paid service that is not provided, remain unaffected by the quality-guarantee window or the no-prorated-refund rule.

Review and payment

We review the request and communicate the decision by email. An approved refund for a web card payment is returned through the payment provider to the original payment method, never in cash. The time until it appears depends on the payment provider and issuing bank; we will provide available transaction details so you can track it. A refund request alone does not cancel future renewals; cancel separately in your account if you wish to stop them. Do not send card numbers, security codes, passwords or one-time payment codes to support.
